TIPS to VISIT the BLUE EYE in Albania🦎 Save it🔒 The Blue Eye is more than just a natural wonder; it’s a portal to a world of imaginatio 🦋 Located near the town of Sarandë, the Blue Eye is a freshwater spring surrounded by green vegetation🌲 The spring is formed by underground water that flows from several sources, creating a pool with a depth of over 50 meters. The area around the spring is a nature reserve with walking trails and wooden platforms for observation 👀 ⚫️Tips to visit the Blue Eye in Albania: 🚌 Transportation: The nearest town is Sarandë. From Sarandë, you can take a local minibus to the Blue Eye. You can also reach it by car. 🕕 Timing: Consider visiting the Blue Eye early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid crowds. 💰 Entrance fee: To access, you have to pay 50 lek ($0,5) 🚙 Parking fee: If you get there by car, you will have to pay 200 lek to park, but if you cross the parking lot, going up the hill, on the curve, it’s free. ⌚️Time needed: With 2-3 hours there is enough, although you can spend the day there (there are restaurants, shops, etc.) 🚶‍♀️ Access: Once you park, until you reach the Blue Eye there is about 25 min of walking. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance if you don’t want to walk (there is paved road to drive). 🏊‍♀️ Swimming and diving: Swimming in the Blue Eye itself is not permitted due to safety reasons and to protect the ecosystem.
