INFO:
“Sorry I can’t attend that 8am meeting, I have a workout class”. 😡 There has been a decent amount of fury online about the fact that a young person recently said: “My hours are 9-5 but my boss has told me to come in for an 8am meeting, I have a workout class at that time so I said no can do” 🙅‍♂️ “Classic Gen Z snowflakes, not like in my day” - Gen X Manager (I have heard this multiple time, but it is satire - chill) ❄️ IMHO, I am willing to shift things around, sometimes I may have an early meeting and can't go the gym before work. Is what it is. However, when that happens, I will log off earlier and go to the gym later 💪 I take a flexibly non-negotiable approach to my wellbeing, it will happen today, I just may flex when it does ✌️ However, for me, this has to be the exception rather than the rule 👊 Are they wrong?
